hello again my speed fight still needs a fine tune when i start it theres a lot of white smoke ( loads it floods the road and lingers at the on coming traffic) it takes about 15 minutes to clear and when the smoke has gone and i pull away the ped is mega slugish and drones along for about 10 -12 metres then it picks up and seems to have a bit more life in it and sounds a bit more lively, ive tried turning the oil pump right down but it still does exactly the same and the same again when i turn the oil right up what else could be the problem

jp its very common for a two stroke to do that they dont burn the two stroke oil off very well until they are hot so it will chuck out a big plume of smoke when its cold,on the other hand it could be the two stoke pump allowing the oil to leak through it which it shouldnt do,does it do it more in the morning and less in the day when you have not left it standing for as long??if so then this is a good possibility the oil can leak past the veins in the oil pump and fill the crankcase partially with oil (can also foul the plug if its alot)this is very common with yamahas like the jog and bi-wiz and why ect although i have never heard of a peugeot doing that its not to rule it out,so try another two stroke pump on it and see what happens ok good luck mate ,adam
