why wont rear Peugeot 106 brake drums come off?

need to change the rear left brake cylinder, and the correct parts for the wheel/ drum wont come off to be able to change for a new cylinder and/ or new brake pads. how do i get everything off to change my cylinder and my brake pads

you will need to remove the metal hub nut cover & large hub nut in the centre of the drum, the whole hub & drum will then normally come of easily, if it doesn't it may be because it has a wear ridge around the edge of the drum, it is also quite common for the lining material to become detatched from the shoe on 106's

You have left the handbrake on, you have not backed the shoes off far enough, or the drum is siezed to the hub, in which case you will need pullers or a big hammer.
Are you sure you should be working on the brakes if you dont know how? If you mess up the engine it's only your problem, if you mess up the brakes it's a danger for everybody.
