We have a Samsung refigerator (RF266AARS - French Door, 28.5 cu ft). The other day my Wife was using the water dispenser and it locked up and was shooting water everywhere. She got it to stop. Then she used it again and it wouldn't work. She popped off the rubber cover and thought she heard a piece fall down. Now we can only use it by manually pushing down the lever inside the opening while holding the glass under the spigot. Anybody know how to fix this????

I can't tell you how to fix it. I can only commiserate. Just had RF266 installed (yesterday). Hooked up water line today. Was draining water out, as per instruction. About 2 gallons into it the exact same thing occurred, I heard the sound of a small [plastic] piece falling down inside the switch and it stopped working. Took the rubber cover off and now to get water we have to poke our finger in and activate the switch while holding glass under outlet.
