How can I fix my USB pen drive?

After I have completed copying all the important documents, I thought of formatting my 4gb pen drive as it has a number of viruses. At first it didn't get formatted, but I had forcefully formatted it. I dont know what has happened after that, it is not at all working. What shall I do now? Please suggest
