Is there anybody out there who can supply me with the alleged 4 digit code to override the immobiliser on my Megane Scenic as the people at Renault refuse to accept that such a problem exists and deny that such a code exists also. My vehicle is a 'V' reg, '98-'99 I think. Any help would be so much appreciated.

only the renault dealer will give out this code and some will be reluctant to aknowlege its ability you will need your v5 doc and some proof of id eg passport / picture driving licence good luck having same problem myself

Snap!! I've been told that a professional Locksmith is capable of re-coding the key's & engine. Apparently there are 2 immobilisers on a "V" reg Scenic for some odd reason & in the diagnostics screen all they have to do is locate which immobiliser is active & select the other one, ie: if immobiliser 1 is active select immobiliser 2 & vice versa. Haven't been able to afford to call one out yet but intend to as soon a finances allow. Hope this info helps.

been told it cant be done by Fish brothers ?swindon,they gave me an 8 figure code, however after exchanging £23 for that code, a "techy" remarked its a V reg Scenic and thats a connection to the diagnostics to remedy? so I am stuck with a scenic that I can open & Lock,but unable to start?
