Beko CDA751F stopped freezing?

Hi,

I have a Beko CDA751 fridge freezer that is 18 months old. Recenly noticd that the freezer is not getting to a low enough temperature to freeze food correctly. I have turned the dial right up to 5 but neither the firdge or freezer seem that cold. There is also a strange clicking noise comming from the back of the Freezer. Has anyone got any suggestions ?

many thanks

The clicking noise was a iced freezer fan. Probably your freezer was full of ice behind a plastic back wall inside the freezer

that strange clicking noise is from the defrost timer situated on the back at the bottom on the left side of the compressor.White plastic housing held on with screws.in the centre is a round blanking cap.prize it out and then using a large flat bladed screwdriver turn the cam around and see if the compressor starts up.replacement timers are about £10.sometimes turning the cam round manually for 5 or 6 revolutions can make them work again but replacement is safest
