hi i got a 1999 escort van 1.8. it keeps leaking into the drivers footwell. its emptying the water from the tank by the engine. i was told its the heater matrix so i got someone to bypass it. (think thats wot its called) but now its still happening. hope that made sense please help me!
hi thanks. the pipes are attached together. definately not goin into the matrix. i have checked the water is now staying full. but its still leaking under the vinyl carpet. do you no of any common places it could be leaking from. many thanks

HI RICK. IF YOU LOOK DOWN BACK OF YOUR ENGINE YOU WILL SEE 2 HOSES GOING INTO THE BULKHEAD. IF THE HEATER HOSES HAVE BEEN BYPASSED THE 2 HOSES WILL BE JOINED TOGETHER. IF YOUR STILL LOSING COOLANT TRY A BOTTLE OF K-SEAL?
