I would check for blockage in the BELLOWS. This rubber hose is located at the bottom of the tub.
Next--verify that the drain motor is not damaged. Some failed drain motors will run--but the impeller on the motor is not spinning (replace drain motor).
Also verify that the impeller blades on the drain motor are not damaged by debris (chunks of missing plastic).
Next--remove the drain hose from the pump and blow through it to see if water can be "pushed" down the drain (I use a rag to cover the hose outlet and poke a hole in the rag before blowing through it). If I cannot blow the drain line clear---I now know that there's a blockage (likely a clump of lint) somewhere in the drain hose. Remove it and try to clear it. If compressed air is available---this usually makes quick work of clearing an obstructed drain line.
