moniter power cord?

I have a moniter and the power cord does not seem to fit it. Is there a picture of where the power cord goes and what it looks like
It is a 17" TFT LCD AVIDAV

Sounds to me like you are missing a piece. This monitor uses an external ac adapter. So you should have a similar setup to a Laptop power adapter. You should have 2 pieces, a plug with a cord, and a power block with a cord. The power block (heavy brick type lump of plastic) will connect into the back of the monitor with a small connection and the wall plug cord will connect into the power block. Hope this helps.
