Hi,
Heres the deal, peugeot speedfight, liquid cooled 2001
I was driving home, stopped off at some lights and my bike started smoking.
pulled over looked around the bike, couldnt see any faults.
later that night when it got dark i soon realised my lamp had blew
changed the lamp, still nothing
i have checked the wiring loom, my indicaters work, and so do my side and rear lights.
as i say, new bulb
Ive been looking around, i see voltage regulators and loads of different things.
I don't just wanna jump in a buy every thing, i havent tested, and living in northampton, i have no local garages.
Anyideas?! please help

hiya need help have a speedfight 2 50cc and i cant get my lights working indicators horn electric start and brake light works but no lights working on front or rear light i have checked all wires on switch tried a new switch still same has any one got any ideas HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!

the headlight bulb holders fall apart on these bikes the same as the motorhispania rx50,they fall apart and the contacts touch each other and short circuit.live-earth

if front side lights working ok, then check brown wire on dip switch. this should be live with engine running.if this is live. then the problem is dip switch knackered. or wires going to headlamp bulb knackered.if so then replace faulty wire.
