cold air?

why is my tumble dryer only blowing cold air can i fix the problem myself

Mine did the same thing. If you make sure the power is off, remove the back square panel, there should be two thermostats screwed into the case, each with 2 wires attached. One is for warm air, one is for hot air. You have to purchase them as a set and replace both. Dont remove the old ones until you have the new ones, then you can swap them carefully making sure everything is the same way around. If I can do it, so can a budgie.

hi lorraine,sounds like the heater element has given up & yes you could repair this yourself,i use a ebey user called appliancehelp & they are very reasonable on price & fast on delivery but remember when you are working on any appliance to have it unplugged
