Top up coolant warning light on Peugeot 307 sw?

I have a 2003 Peugeot 307 SW 2.0 ltr Diesel.
The "Top up coolant " warning light and the "STOP" logos are activated when first starting the engine.
They activate for a few seconds then go out, then again a few seconds later when pulling away. I'm assuming this referes to the water level in the header tank which is usualy mixed with anti-freeze. The level is between the MIN and MAX marks so should not need topping up. Am i missing something obivous? Does this actualy mean the header tank?

Looks like Kaiser is out of cocky answers!! Perhaps he likes people to think he knows more than he does.
The indicator is for fluid content only and not for the mix,all that was needed was to add a little water to take above sensor.

Does the sensor test the mix to identify if there is enough anti freeze? Or is it just a sensor which registers when the amount of fluid in the tank is low like the windscreen washers.
Secondly, if the level is between the min and max, should i remove some of the water and then replace with anti freeze?
Never had to do that before, thats why i pay for a service.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Errrr, have you thought of just putting in some anti-freeze to bring the level up to max?
I wonder if this is why they are called idiot lights?
