I have had my machine now for about 18 months and has always worked perfectly. I went to turn it on this morning and no light is coming on and the wash wont start as if there is no power coming to it for some reason or the on switch isnt working. Has anyone any ideas or had the same trouble?

plug something in to the socket used by the washer to test that it is live and working.it could be a faulty on/off switch on the washer
