The Error comes up: 1720 Smart Hard Drive...and that is all it says. It is the Windows XP PRO and has always been GREAT Laptop, an HP Pavilion,..Been both Strong and Fast, until this error popped up,...Yea, 1720 is correct,...whatever that means,..it is still giving me fits....but seems to work ok after I hit F1 but it is a lot slower than before...It is not getting too hot, I don't think, but I never run it over an hour at a time, nor, do I believe it to be a virus, Not one that I can find anyway...if you have a Clue, cause I do not....I would appreciate your Imput.
