I've just replaced the element to my creda oven and when i switched the fuse switch back on both the fan and the element in the main oven came on even though the switch on the oven is in the off position.
Is it worth getting a technician in to look at it or does it sound terminal (expensive).

Seems like you have put a wire back on the wrong terminal.
