Is this an easy fix?

I have a hotpoint aquarius condenser drier model TDC30P. It is not getting hot. I think its the element and I have found the part on the web. Is it and easy fix and could the fault be something more serious?

could be an element but could also be a thermostat.you would need to test parts with a multimeter to find out for sure which has failed
