reset button?

is there a reset button on my tumble dryer to stop it tripping the sockets

No

If the machine trips the power circuit it means that it's taking too much current - it may be a problem with a heating element but that's just conjecture on my part - if only there were a reset button to correct this type of fault!

Self diagnosis and repair
A specialist appliance engineer
A new machine

These are your realistic options

Good luck...
