thankyou MR K were is the pressure release valve , i know there is a valve underneath i have to turn sometimes if its above number 1 in the green section to bring it to between 1 and 2 but is it another valve to release the pressure somewhere ?

Dial tells you what pressure is in the boiler if it is working correctly. Either your pressure relif valve is faulty or your pressure is too high by filling it too high not knowing the faulty gauge. if all is fine in the boiler than your pressure is too low and pressure relif valve is letting by water so you need to replace it
