It is pointless just guessing at what you may or may not need and buying parts at random until you happen to find the right answer. You need to trace & locate the smell of burning down to one particular part. It will mean looking & smelling in different areas until you are sure you have located the source. Then go & buy that part & fit it. Do it the other way and you may end up spending far more than you need to.
