how do you change the battery in a optima xm intruder alarm

Agradecia me ajudassem. Tenho um alarme Optima XM que está parado há 10 anos. Já comprei as baterias novas, mas como já nao me lembro do código, quando ligo, não pára de berrar. Se alguém me puder dar uma ajuda agradecia sinceramente.

Take the screw out from the right hand side front of main pannel. Your battery is situated at the bottom left hand side just behind the front pannel. Take off the two leads red & black, remove the battery and replace with new putting the two wires on the correct turmanal on the battery. Red = live +. and Black on the negative = -.
