can i replace the elements of my boiler myself?

There are 2 elements in my boiler(electric) the top one operates the economy 7 heating and the bottom one the whole tank.

dont see why not , if you have the right tools , to fit the element. and your carefull , with them , when turning the element that you dont damage the tank. you need a large stillson wrench, to turn the element lock nut anti clockwise. to open , now the wireing , take off the cap. have all the power in your home knocked off, first , take a photo of the wireing , or wright down were the 3 wires go , have the power off , and drain the tank ....
