ignition fault?

cannon harmony dual fuel oven,
no spark to rear left gas ring, every thing else working alright

found the answer myself,on careful inspection found that the ceramic round the electrode had split so that it was sparking around its base rather than at the top
to ignite the gas.

hope this maybe of some help to others in the same
predicament
