Stupidly I have allowed the oil to run out. I have had oil delivered but now need to get the boiler functioning properly since it locked out. I'm guessing I need to sort of bleed the system as no doubt it was sucking on air. Dog's demolished the manual so if anyone can tell me what to do it would be much appreciated. There are some disadvantages to being a girl...

Turn the tank valve OFF
Undo the flexible pipe that carries the oil into the burner (17mm usually), place this pipe in a bottle or tray
Turn oil tank valve ON, collect oil and bubbles in the bottle.
turn tank valve OFF, connect pipe to burner
Turn tank valve ON, attempt to start the burner.
(Having a pal around helps!)
