mine did the same and i found that the white plastic sensor on the back, down low was burnt out dryer worked great if wires were held together ( carefully as they are hot and do not connect and run just to test)
On mine you could hear the timer running if the door was shut, I unplugged the unit pulled the wires off the(Heat sensor ?) white plastic sensor making sure they touched nothing plugged dry in and touched together and it ran awesome. then unplugged and ordering part tomorrow Ps hose was blocked by child playing hide and seek causing it to overheat!
