how can i fix 03 mondeo brake light that wont go out?

03 ford mondeo when I use the clutch the brake light comes on and I have to put my foot under the brake pedal to get light to go of I have replaced the brake switch but still the same

have you tried adjusting it? or have the bushes worn where the pedal pivot pin is ? is the pedal returning all the way back to the top?
