TRITON MADRID 2 8.5KW SHOWER?

I only get acceptable water pressure from my shower when it is on a cold setting. When I switch it to a warm setting, the pressure drops massively, and the temperature fluctuates from tepid to scalding.

Is this likely to be a problem with the unit itself e.g the thermal safety cut out device or the solenoid; or could it be a plumbing issue?

Are you able to get about 44C from the shower when the flow control is turned down. If so then the shower is working normally. The alternating hot/cooler water ouput is caused by the shower thermal cycling on the thermostat. This is normal. Electric showers do have quite a low flow esp. this time of year when mains water is very cold! maybe about 5 litres a minute in this weather.
