my maytag dryer stopped in the middle of drying a load.and it had a burnt smell. i realized that the lint exhaust leading to the outside was blocked. i unblocked that and for good measure i opened the dryer and cleaned out the inside lint from around the drum. after putting it all back together i tried to turn it on and all i get is the quiet sound that the timer makes. any suggestions on whether there is some kind of a reset button or something?
