Hot water problem on Glow worm Flexicom 30cx boiler?

I have a Glow Worm Flexicom 30cx boiler. The heating is fine but when using the hot water for a shower or bath it is not a constant temperature ranging from warm to hot. Can anyone help?

I came across your problem because I'm having a intermittent problem with my 18hx (not combi) failing to relight itself. It might not be the easiest answer to your problem but we've had an Aqualisa Axis digital processor shower fitted 8 months ago, the temperature control is perfect as far as I'm concerned. Ours is for a gravity-fed system but I've just checked the brochure and they do supply for combi systems.

I have just had a Glow Worm engineer to look at ours because our hot water was only warm (35c). He said this is a design of the boiler as it heats the water to 34c above the outside temp. He slowed the water rate down to 10ltr/min for the default 12ltr/min and it’s made a small difference. Apparently the model above 35cx would do the job better!

Paid British Gas a small fortune to for this and I’m in the process of complaining.
