My dring is not blowing out heat. i checked the element and pulled a wire from an item of clothing cleaned all the back and still not heating up could it be the element or the thermastat?

more than likely its the thermostats that sit on top of the element. the way to check this is to take the element off the back and see if one of the stats is pushed in, if so then they need changing. a very easy job and quite cheap to obtain the spares. just be careful when putting the element back as you dont want to crimp the wires against the case! hope this helps
