Were you having this problem before you fitted the new starter?
Have you checked the battery condition/voltage, the earth cables and the connections at the starter?

well good for the starter, take it to a mechanic, he will do something called repair or "fix", its a means of making something that does'nt work work again, experience has taught me that in 99% of all cases, fixing things helps when theyre broken, and they work again
