zanussi tce7124w tumble dryer wont start ?

on off light comes on but when i press start button nothing happens and low temp light and buzzer off button does not come on either buttons seem ok when pressed but nothing happens

behind the start button is a plastic diffuser.the button press webbing breaks and will not allow the start button to press.Around £10 for part.fascia control panel has to be removed and display pcb removed to gain access to the diffuser
