How can I fix my engine noise on my 1.9 tdi galaxy 04?

There seems to be an engine rattle at tickover and the steering vibrates when turned stationary and the fan belt squeals aswell. Is it the alternater? thanks your thoughts please

Sounds more like the power steering pump, and/or, a loose power steering belt. Get it checked out.
