lefthand element on cookmaster100 how to change?

lefthand element on cookmaster100 has gone
1 where are the fuses
2 how do you change element
steve wells, December 2009
If you pull the oven out and switch off the mains supply first.
Then remove the rear panel on the side that the faulty element is on. There will be 3 spade connections on the element, the middle one is the earth. Remove the connections either side of the earth and you will need a multimeter set on the ohms range.

You would expect to see between 20-46 ohms depending on the power rating of that element.

If the meter doesn't read these values it will be faulty and you can replace it by unbolting it at the back.

If the element is o.k. then check the thermal fuse which is on the live feed (brown wire), and is clipped on the back of the oven. Do a continuity check on the fuse which has a plastic cover which you need to pull back to check. You should get a reading of 0 ohms. If not it's blown and will need replacing.

Hope that helps.
