Halstead Finest Platinum water pressure fault?

I have a Halstead Finest Platinum water pressure fault. it is telling me that there is a low water pressure fault but the gauge is saying it has 1 bar. does anyone know what this means and how i can fix it? i currently have no hot water or heating.

Cheers

I have this problem and the way I have overcome this is. I first make sure that I have water pressure, then I put the heating on for about 2 minutes before turning on the hot water and as soon as I have hot water I turn the heating off. I will be trying to change the boiler as soon as possible.

Hi,
this boiler is frought with problems of this type, it may be the PCB, water pressure switch, or pump,
parts and support is hard to find as the company appears
to be out of operation, the service help line simply gives an alternative number, searching for parts online is getting more and more difficult,
as I understand, British Gas still has this boiler in their service list, and their homeserve packages are looking very attractive of late...
sorry I couldn't offer anything more.

Hi there,

I have the same problem and researching the internet brought me to this link.

Did you get this problem sorted? What was the solution?

your pressure gauge could be stuck top your pressure up slowly to see if pin moves on gauge.
