How can I add Radwell to my leaky radiator on my Ford Mondeo?

My radiator is leaking on my L reg Ford Modeo 1600. I want to add Radwell to it, to try and seal the leak, but I can't see where I can pour the Radwell into the radiator. Can you help? I don't want to take it to a garage as they will just want to replace the radiator, and it will cost me hundreds of pounds which I can't aford.

hi is it ok to add radwell to a toyota mr2 leaky radiator

nick, adding radweld seems a good idea but there are complications afterwards, the radweld after atime will go hard in the water system within the smaller waterways that run through the engine which can cause over heating and head gasket failure so try, your local scapyard for a replacement they will have a radiator already on the shelf for about £20, its also easy to replace the radiator just two pipes and four little screwbolts down each side of rad. good luck

open the bonnet with the engine cold and on the left hand side of the engine you will see a big plastic box, with the word's do not open when hot on the cap......this is the radiator expansion tank, used for topping up the radiator and adding radweld or anti-freeze .
