how do i know my heater is using off peak electricity to charge?

when i moved in to my flat the heaters were turned off by the switch next to them so i just turned them on at about 5pm. Does the heater just start charging as soon as u turn it on or do the heaters automatically charge at off peak hours?

The off peak supply is governed by a timer incorporated in to the supply to your flat, it will automatically switch to off peak without any intervention on your part. Normally the heaters charge for 7 hours during the night.
