DC04 Dyson?

Problem with suction - when used in upright position. Can use hose as suction is ok with this.. I am thinking it is the belt which needs to be replaced - any tips on replacing belt? DIY not too bad!!!

If you take off the bottom plate which is just 3 plastic slot screws where you get to the brush you will see a small hose there .My Dyson had the same problem and it was that hose blocked, but the hose will still get suction.Clean all the filters while you have it apart.

I've got the exact same problem. Am fed up cleaning carpet with hose and small nozzle!!! I thought it might be the brush
