Triton Opal - How can I stop the water flowing????

The stop switch on the shower (Triton Opal) does not stop the water flowing (switch does not seem to work anymore). The cold water runs continuously. Is there something within the shower itself that I can do to stop the water flowing as at the moment I have to leave my main stopcock off which is a pain. Would be grateful for any help.

You can add a shut off valve to the incoming pipes (about £3.00 at B&Q) you will need a pipe cutter and some diy knowledge. You can also try (WITH THE MAINS SWITCHED OFF AT YOUR SHOWER ISOLATOR OR SWITCH BOX) unscrew the front cover, you may need to pull the shower knobs off, use a pliers to turn the shower off as the knob might just be broken
