renault clio hazard warning switch fault?

my hazard warning lights do not work? is it the switch or is it the relay? My left and right indicators work as normal and the fuse powers both the indicators and the hazard lights, so its not the fuse. any answers???

you could try taking the switch out and spraying it with some wd40 as the sometimes stick

You will need to change the switch which is something you can do yourself. quite a common fault on the clios presuming its an 01 - 05 model. You need a small falt screw driver to pop the front triangle off then the switch should just pull out with a bit of a wiggle. Available from a renault dealer for around £20.00 + vat. i just replaced mine and a few customers as i work for a motor factors
hope this helps
