Heavy white smoke, Mk3 astravan diesel, R reg?
it all started when i was one of the unlucky ones who got caughtup in the heavy snow.
badly over heated. i have changed the coolant and put in a new thermostat but still have heavy white smoke.
the radiator hose piping goes solid when pressure builds up,
Could traped air in the cooling system cause this?
and can traped air also cause the white smoke?
also i have no heating even tho it has a new thermostat.
the van runs very well, no miss fires or spluttering,
it has a new MOT & new exhaust (cattalist section)
any feedback will be most appreceated.
