fitted new element to my bosch HBN7050 oven ,will not heat up ?

Fitted new element to my Bosch HBN7050 double oven,oven will not heat up.Is there a fuse within the oven that could have blown.

Same happened to mine too. Worst oven I have ever bough and Bosch extremely unhelpful regarding the matter. Would never buy Bosch again. Have to buy new oven today having had the Bosch oven repaired/new element fitted many many times. Waste of money

Probably the element again. We have had one of these for 8 years. So far the element has failed on average once every 14 months. The element is a different shape from most which, we're told, is the root of the problem. A terrible buy! I found this page whilst searching for a decent replacement.

had the same fault on mine today - there seems to be a thermostat safety device on the rear of the oven - on mine this was open circuit - shorting it out resulted in the element working. You may wish to check yours too. You need to take the rear off the oven to see it. It is connected by spade terminals to the element.
