citadel xr2 plus?

after a power failure, when power was restored, there has been no control of alarm at remote key pad also no day or attack indicate led's showing. The background lights behind digits 1-10 are illuminated so i know that the keypad protection fuse is ok.
Is it the keypad faulty (my guess) or is it the main pcb board?

Top man donbar, replaced the battery and it has sorted the problem out. The old battery had been pulling the voltage down from the key pad.
You've saved me the price of a new key pad, I owe you one mate, cheers

Try the battery angle first you want a 2.1amp 12v, when you power up, first place leads on battery terminals then the mains do it in that order and it should come to life.

cheers dunbar,
but with power restored the key pad won't operate, the illuminated lights on each digit 1-9 glow, but the attack or day indication lights are out.
I take your point about the back up battery, as it did not hold out during power failure and panel is in about 8 years old.

Possibly be the back up battery with Alarm panel, how long has it been installed? Normally after power cut if the battery is good key your code in and press reset. may need an engineer if not
