Cost of flushing out a central heating system?

What would be the approximate cost of flushing out a central heating system?
Sean, January 2010
There are variables that make a difference to the price.

1. What;s the problem.
2. How big is the system.
3. what make and model of boiler do you have?
4. any microbore pipework?
5. Where do you live?
6. do you want a quick job from someone learning as they go or from an experienced professional.

As a guide though, for a 7 rad system with no microbore and an older cast-iron boiler, in a hard water area, you are looking at around £425/£450 for a professional, guaranteed job or as little as £250 for a quickie with no guarantees.

Hope that helps.

You could take a look at my site (www.pritchard-heating.co.uk) for more info.

Best wishes
