My washing machine fills up but does not wash.The spin cycle empties the water but does not spin. any answers

how do you replace the drum bearing, mine are very noisy, i think it is the front one

check the motor brushes.if the carbon bit is around 10mm they need replacing.to test you can stretch the old brush by pulling the carbon bit out and refitting to the motor.if the motor rotates again it proves the brushes are to short.DON'T run the machine with stretched brushes for a long time as damage to the motor can occur although a few washes doesn't normally hurt until you can get some new ones
