We have an SL8 Intruder Alarm System, installed brand new by bulider when house was built 3+ years ago. We've never used it as we have dogs and they have the run of the house. Yesterday when decorating i knocked the cover off a motion sensor and set the alarm off. We don't know the code so having found instruction manual etc. I entered code written in pencil on the back presuming this was code..needless to say it didn't silence the alarm. Tried to enter 0000 and 0123 as codes and they didn't silence alarm either. Alarm siren finally silenced after about 20 mins but the light on the alarm box on the front of the house is still flashing. The SL compact control panel box has the day & power lights illuminated but no other lights. Please does anybody have any advice on how to do a factory reset so that we can select a pin no.? or how to get the box light to stop flashing?
I have tried calling both support numbers on the booklet but neither are recognised and no trace of this co. on the net either.

Similar question , outside light flashing, system returned to factory settings. Looked at inside control panel and answer above doesnt make sense to me. Help Please. Ps system is working, just ligh outside is flashing and don't have a green light for zones

IF you dont have the number you need to do a factory default. You have to power down panel both mains and back up battery. Take out the wiring to the pa terminals Place a wire link between the set terminal (last one on right and side) and the left hand terminal of the PA. power up battery first then mains you will hear a beep from keypad. Power down again take out link and replace the pa wiring, when the alarm sounds put in 0123 and press reset. May not work if battery is old, If not do all above but do the link from set to left hand side of tamper. You can get pet sensors, so having dogs will not interfere with alarm system>
