How can remove the filter housing of my Zenussi ZWF1210w?

How can get to the inside of my Zenussi zwf1210w product number 9147918400 so I can clean the inside of the filter and remove the "bung" which will not unscrew from the front.

I have unscrewed all the bolts on the base.

unscrew filter cap until its loose.get a pair of pliers and grip the handle bit.Now pull like hell until it comes out.if it hasn't been out for an age it will be wedged in with crap!
