Searching on Google suggests that it is because of the cold weather and that pressing the temperature button twice shows a snowflake and sets a defrost function - I have tried it and seems to be working...F37 still flashing and beeps still occur now and then, but it is spinning the drum and trying to take water from the pipe...we'll see if it works!
