i have no phone service, but want to reset code, i have lived in the house for 10 years, never got the code from the owner

depending on the brand and model of the sytem the steps to change the code will vary. you will need to know the installer code to access any alarm panel. ADT uses 6321 with that you can search installer manuals online to change your master code. the model will be on the inside door of your alarm PANEL not the keypad
