dti's only have the bosch VP30 (electronicaly controlled mechanical pump) - the CDTI still has a mechanical pump but it doesnt control the injection timing i believe they also have an electric pump in the fuel tank.

99% of modern diesels do have electric fuel pumps .. but best phone dealers with the question just to be sure ... it wont cost you anything as they wont charge for giving you the information
