Hi Lincoln Appliances
I got the engineer and it was the heater plate. Thank you again for assistance. By the way, is it possible to get an engineers repair manual for the DD603 in case/when it goes again.

Thanks again Lads, I had a look at the RFI board, the lid and it's motors, the heater and physically checked the wiring for breaks but I did not see anything wrong. It's time to call the engineer as I think it will need a part, probably the RFI board or that heater plate.
Thank you from a very snowy Ireland, we probably could not be any further apart on earth but closer together in enthusiasm

Sounds like it has failed mid wash with the lid still down. You will have to be a bit brutal & pull hard on the drawer to force it open. (not recommended to force it back as it may damage the seal on the lid.) Once open remove the drawer completely & inspect the RFI board at left rear on the base tray. Inspect lower wiring & heater plate on drawer for damage or shorting. If all ok, then get a new control module & instal it.

Hi Lincoln Appliances & Big Thank you for responding.
Yes it is the DD603. The bottom drawer stopped mid-cycle. The top drawer beeps, flashes, shows F1 & has the pump running continuously. The bottom drawer display is unlit, presssing power, start or lock buttons has no effect, it is difficult to open the bottom drawer. There was no water leak.

A model number would be a great help. If it is a DD603 then power failure to the bottom drawer will make top drawer display F1. So it may be a power failure which could mean a failed control panel, damaged heater plate or a damaged RFI power supply board. F1 can also mean a water leak has operated the flood switch. A water leak may explain why any damage to the RFI or heater has occured. Unless you know what you are doing & what to look for it would be wiser to get someone in to fix it.
